Chery Auto Philippines Official Statement on Omoda Owner’s Social Media Post

Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) has learned about the recent social media post by a customer from Malaysia who experienced a broken rear axle while driving her Omoda car in the said country.   
 
CAP would like to clarify that it carries the TIGGO crossover models and is a different model from Omoda mentioned in the post.  
 
Furthermore, CAP’s Tiggo models are imported directly from its manufacturing facility in Wuhu China, while said Omoda models were manufactured in Malaysia with Chery’s joint venture company.
